You know if it wasn't for ace fighting against blackbeard, luffy would've been dead already even though blackbeard isn't that strong (oh well his fruit is, i'm talking about his capability of fighting) he can still take down luffy because damn that devil fruit is hella strong! But one thing that's bothering me is his pride like can't you just let your pride down for one second? I know that's his personality and of course we can't change that but you do know that your pride can be the one that'll get you in trouble.

And he'll obtain whitebeard's devil fruit later , so he'll gonna be more annoyingly powerful

Plus it's weird that oda suddenly mentioned another legend, rocks D. Xebec(garp and roger teamed up just to defeat this guy) , he might have some connections with Blackbeard or maybe his reincarnation or something(like body possession, or maybe he's just his successor
